4 Signs Your Computer Has Been Hacked

Have I been hacked? It is a definite possibility, but it is also challenging to determine who has hacked a computer or who is actively hacking a computer. Here are four signs your Computer has hacked:

#1 Antivirus is switched off

Sometimes hackers disable your antivirus to exploit the computer. If you notice that your antivirus has been disabled or stopped working that you can’t re-enable, that’s a potential indication that your device has been infected or hacked.

#2 Your computer works very slowly

Signs that your device is hacked include a decline in performance. One of the most common tactics hackers uses most of your system resources like CPU, network traffic, memory, and bandwidth, which slows your PC or Mac to respond to your input or even when taking forever to boot up.

#3 You are redirected to different websites

Being redirected from the results of your search is another sign to indicate a hacking activity. If you notice that your default search engine changed to something you don’t want, or you.

Homepage changed, and a new toolbar has been added, then this might be a symptom of malware infection.

#4 Your passwords don’t work

This one of the most explicit indicators that you have been compromised. Sometimes the hacker changes the password, and if forgot password feature does not work, for the case of the email, you might want to contact the support tech to reset your account.
